As you probably already read in Kevin & Larry's accounts of the show, Steve asked her to do Angel (Cowboy Waltz). Wow. She was definitely ON that night. She nailed that song like I've never heard before. I still have tears in my eyes. In an instant, I had regressed 25 years, and I was right there in the back seat of the station wagon, listening to my parents sing songs exactly like that as we drove down the road. I've heard Jewel sing that song dozens of times, but it has never hit me like that until this particular time, with this particular version. Suddenly, I am reminded why I am here on this list.
