However I come from Holland and that's not really in the local area. About the favorite songs: I posted my list earlier but when looking throught other peoples lists I see songs that should have been in my list as well. Guess it's very hard to make a favorite list because simply all songs are great and there are so many. I think we're very lucky with Jewel writing (and performing) so many great songs. She really is the most gifted songwriter/singer ever. But that of course is old news to you. - - Floris >From: "Kovacs, Mirinda" >To: jewel@smoe.org >Subject: RE: [EDA] Re: may 3, 1993 91X radio show?? >Date: Fri, 17 Jan 2003 09:09:04 -0600 > >Has anyone thought of contacting the radio station about this? I decided to click through to get a closer look at the work, when I realized, that this person was just saying it was an illustration of an "angel" that he drew! with absolutely no attribution to it actually being Jewel whatsoever. The drawing is here: http://www.clinthschmidt.com/pages/illustrations.html click "angel" on the side for singular picture of it. what irked me about this was that this guy *blatantly* ripped off this picture of Jewel: http://www.pophotties.com/Jewelpicsfolder/Galleries/pages/jewelK36.htm the only difference between his drawing and the picture is that he added angel wings.... it just bugs me that he puts it there as his drawing (which it *is* his drawing) but acts as if he drew this picture of an 'angel' out of thin air. I considering emailing him to call him on it, but I had no idea what'd I'd even say in the email, so anyways, I just thought it was pretty crappy of the guy to copy a picture of her like that and not just come out and say "I drew this from a photo of Jewel". ~ Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 19 Jan 2003 02:05:44 +0000 From: "eliot lemoncelli" Subject: [EDA] NJC - quote collector Hey everybody, Im looking for the EDA who collects quotes, she said she had some on feminism, and id like to see them. I think it's just their portfolio. I couldn't see where they may have been implying that... hmm.. but maybe I wasn't looking close enough (?)...
