I was a little suprised about the whole r & b and hip hop and synthesizers etc etc but the part about having organic sounds as well put me at ease. I think it will be a cool new combination. Im very curious about what It'll be like! At one time I wouldve said "blah synthesizers?" and the such, but i think ive become so horrifically biased that I love Jewel no matter what. Im sure even if I wasnt biased though, it would be a good album. Its not about making a stupid cheesy pointless song, its very well done, well thought out, well pulled off, etc etc stuff that Jewel does. It sounds like the album is coming along really nicely, 10 songs are done for it already. It seems like shes been working under our noses for a while. If Jewel says its her best, it is. So yeah. My jarbled two cents! Thanks for the message, Jewel! Thanks for the forward to the list, Mike! And Im really sorry I forgot to type in Jewel@smoe.org again... Sorry Mike! Thanks Jewel! Theres my two cents. I loved the last record. But I really miss the "old" Jewel. I am, however, very excited about the new record.
