The only shows that weren't sold out were the really big ones - like the 15 000 seaters. The rest of it was. I wish I could see some actual figures on how much the tour made etc - I'm sure billboard magazine has a list of the top 50 or something, and Jewel is probably included in that. But they only announce the top 10.. and there's no way Jewel could compete with that... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2002 18:11:18 +0100 From: "Michiel - van - Gorkum" Subject: [EDA] =?iso-8859-1?Q?Jewel=B4s_WISHES_for_the_fans=3F=3F=3F_for_the_n ew_year!!?= hello Jewelfans, I was wondering what Jewel wishes are for 2003, and what she hopes to do in 2003. OF course i wish her health, and a lot of nice musical inspiration and as all the fans that are on this list, do i want to wish the best for 2003. I hope for love and peace, and great new jewelsongs which are recorded for a new album! I hope that Jewel will sent out a communique to let her fans know what she hopes for! bye Michiel the dutch jewelfan http://www.jewelkilcher.myweb.nl a dutch tributesite for jewel ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 30 Dec 2002 14:13:38 -0330 From: "Mark Austin" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jewel´s WISHES for the fans??? for the n ew year!! jI also wonder what she wants to do, this year as well. I got a lot from the Atlantic Confidential interview, like wanting to get two albums out in the next two years, etc. Jewel seems to always search for a new sound for each album, and I was wondering what direction she wants to take with this one. All I've heard was that it was going to be more electric. How will she approach touring? Besides that, it would be nice to hear her thoughts on the year and how she felt about everything, etc. But this doesn't really matter, I suppose. Jewel only needs to get as personal with us as she wants, and right now shes probably just trying to relax and regroup for the upcoming year, which from rumours, facts, etc seems like it will be a busy one. I dont really know what to say, Im just babbling out random thoughts, so I think thats it. We know Jewel wishes her fans the best, theres no need to expect or even demand a seasons greeting from her. That would be kinda rude. Well, I wish Jewel the best, and all of you guys as well. That was just a lot of random pointless thoughts ^.^; Ciao, Mark Ps. I forgot to type in Jewel@smoe.org AGAIN. For example I've seen two sites that that in the song "What Matters Is The Heart" (with Edwin Mccain) say "My brother Ron's as red as yours" Shouldnt this be "my blood runs as red as yours" ?? There are other little errors I see often too in lyric collections, let us know if you know of any stand out ones ^^. Mark p.s. wow maybe this enlightened and opened up a new world for some confused Jewel fans... My brother ron is as red as yours??? lol p.p.s. Im gonna look dumb if thats the actual words. ^^; _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 3 months FREE*. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail&xAPID=42&PS=47575&PI=7324&DI=7474&SU= http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/getmsg&HL=1216hotmailtaglines_advancedjmf_3mf ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V7 #560 ***************************
