I do have some older things and could try to compile a list, if a trade is necessary. The IU show was the best Jewel performance I've ever seen (my third time seeing her...once with Lilith Fair, once on the Spirit tour, and now solo). Thanks! Also, my local cable company re-broadcast an hour of Jewel's "Sessions at West 54th Street" performance this past Sunday evening. This was taped right around the time "Joy" was released, I believe...the performance consisted of mostly holiday songs with an orchestra, plus YWMFM and WWSYS. I hadn't seen it before because my local PBS station does not air "Sessions," but it was a pretty good performance! The broadcast was pretty bad quality, though, but I taped it anyway. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Add photos to your e-mail with MSN 8. My cable company didn't start carrying the PBS station that show Sessions until well after the last time they showed the Jewel episode. The last time the Jewel one was on, I busted out my old TV and rigged it up with an antenna and some wires to try to get halfway decent reception. I started recording it onto an audio tape, so I have maybe the first half of it. After a while, you can hear static building, and then bzzzt! My TV breathed it's last breath while Sessions was on, and I have it documented on an audio tape somewhere :P Alas, that's the last time I heard or saw any of Sessions. But anyway, good luck :) ===== * http://www.geocities.com/quattj/ http://www.?p3.com/TheMasterCow * ]:o_ Jason Quattrini The Master Cow _o:[ |O = "I am a WERECOW! Someone requested Sweet Home Alabama and she was doing alright with the lick and then she got to the chorus and she said "and then it goes..." and she screwed up bad... sounded like the guitar puked and she started to laugh and everyone else was laughing she managed to get out "i suck" while laughing. Then she calls to the sound the guy at the back as if defeated and asks "what am i dong?" In fact i would call that concert the best time i had ever. Nothing beats the solo show. peace EM ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Dec 2002 19:55:16 EST From: KLOFTON7@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Re: jewel & the lingerie ok- it has now been brought to my attention by a couple of you guys that jewel really loves lingerie & that she has no problem spending a lot of cash on it! while i thought she wasnt the lingerie type i am now trying to prevent my dirty mind from picturing her in some kind of lace lingerie!!! he he he!! i'm still having a hard time imagining jewel in lingerie??!!! i dont know- i guess her music is so deep & meaningful its hard to picture her strutting around her texas ranch in some victoria secrets piece while ty chases her with his lassoo!!! - -Matt ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Dec 2002 23:50:35 -0330 From: "Mark Austin" Subject: Re: [EDA] Re: jewel & the lingerie i guess her music is so deep & meaningful its hard to picture her strutting >around her texas ranch in some victoria secrets piece while ty chases her >with his lassoo!!! >-Matt I Know one liners are bad but... *GAWK* Thats all I can do lol Mark P.s.
