They show stars and other rich people with expencive houses and hobbies and what not and they also have a segment of the show called giving large in which they show people with large fund raisers or charitys. Anyway if i heard correctly (it was 3am) i believe Jewel will be on the show for "givin' large." Where i live it airs at 3am on saturday night on WDWB also known as the WB. I just thought i'd let everyone know incase it wasn't out there however, for all i know this could be old news. Peace y'all Emily ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 14:58:40 EST From: JeWeLNuMbEr1FaN@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Re: JeweLink NewsFlash! Wow!!! I'm SOOOO happy she did this: November 20, 2002 Songwriters In The Round Save The Music Benefit, Bottom Line, NYC Jewel, Rob Thomas, and The Neptunes discuss songwriting methods with legendary Elton John collaborator Bernie Taupin. Each perform two of their favorite own compositions as well as a song they wish they had written. Jewel's songs were: Who Will Save Your Soul, Hands, The Other Woman (song she wished she had written) Is it really her favorite song??? Wow, that's really cool!! It would be mine also if I had written it when I was 16 or something! lol! I would be so like "OMG, I wrote this really good song SO young! I must kick ass" hehe... Jewel called him up, saying how great he was and stuff like that and they sang the song. Just got it from the Mraz forum. If any other EDA's are going, please feel free to introduce yourself. I'll be the "surfer boy" in the blue LAFD hat with a silly grin on his face. As an incentive, I'll give you a bonus 100 points in the "Quiz Game, Part II: R U A EDA?" just for saying "Hi!" (200 points if you manage to get a picture with me, hehe). I have a question: which EDA has the record for seeing Jewel in the most states? Kentucky will make #4 for me, I'll bet some east coaster has got that beat. Here's my stats: 1. California (too many to list) 2. New York (Jewelstock...yeah!) 3. Washington (Puyallup fair) 4. Kentucky (Whitney Hall) I'm still here, Sinjin (no way...I posted something!) ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V7 #508 ***************************
