That issue was the first RS I thought had something worth reading in a very long time. I would send this directly to our administrator but I wanted everyone to be exposed to the thought.... What business does the RIAA or Atlantic have dictating how Jewel's (or any other artist's) concert recordings are distributed? That was my initial thought anyway... Then I realized, do Aritsts, even popular artists like Jewel, sign contracts giving record labels rights to Songs, not just versions of Songs released on Studio Albums? Check out this link for the RS article I refered to above... http://www.rollingstone.com/news/newsarticle.asp?nid=11434&cf=97 For those of you interested in the particulars of -why- we wouldnt be allowed to have an FTP, that's a good background to start with... james ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 11 Oct 2002 14:43:27 -0600 (MDT) From: Charlie Watkins Subject: [EDA] NJC: Milla Jovovich on new cd For you really old timers out there who can remember the Bang-Your-Head list, Milla's "The Gentleman Who Fell" is on The Rules of Attraction soundtrack.
