We've got plenty of time to figure something out for the Merriville show on the 23rd... that's the one I'd most like to meet up with some fellow EDAs (never done it before)... I'll be going to that show solo, but I'd love to get seats with someone on the list! STAR PLAZA THEATRE I 65 & US 30 8001 DELAWARE PL, MERRILLVILLE, IN 46410 (219) 769-6600 That's where the show is located, tickets on sale THIS saturday, but I couldn't get through to anyone at that number to find out about possible pre-sales on the tickets. Is there anyone in the merriville area that could be at the box office saturday morning to get some tix for me? I work saturday or I'd make the drive... I'm going to try to get it off so I can be out there myself... the Star Plaza theatre also does group sales, and I'm thinking that might be the way to go to get us EDAs some really really good seats- If you're interested, LMK asap! I really don't want to be a complainer-- but do you think that Jewel has something against North Carolina? She didn't get anywhere near here this summer-- and she isn't going to be here this time either. I REALLY wanted to see her this year :( I really think that a show would sell out here-- I don't know maybe something happened to ger last time she was here that made her not like it. - -- Chrissy ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 24 Sep 2002 16:38:04 -0500 From: "Rob Hanning" Subject: [EDA] unrecognizable Ego Well, I'm glad to read that some of you out there like the remix single. I thought I'd throw my own opinion out there, just to balance things out a little. For me, this is a disc I will finish listening to in a few minutes and then put in the collection storage box & probably never hear again. It goes to reaffirm one of the reasons I don't go to "clubs". To take what is my favorite song, musically, from This Way, and turn it into a virtually unrecognizable mishmash of electronica, nary a real instrument in sight...well, that's just blasphemy in this man's eyes. But, as I said, that's just my opinion. I won't say I think it sucks...I won't slam anyone else because they like it. I will just say that I don't like it. Anyone else wanna step up & join me?
