Really. Lucky me, living in a this enclave of culture in the Rocky Mountans. Missoula has two great radio stations. One is the local PBS station KUFM. It has the normal NPR news and stuff like that, but also has the most eclectic programming I've ever heard on any radio station; from hip-hop to opera. The other is KBGA, the student operated university radio station. This one is heavy on new and indie music, but also plays just about everyhting else. BTW, out of 14 AM and FM radio stations here, Clear Channel owns 4 and Fisher owns 5. OMG!!! I met AVRIL LAVIGNE!! I went to the private concert earlier today at 1 and since we were the first ones that we got to stand outside the door and listen to her soundcheck! She was so funny! She made these noises and she sung a bunch of other artists songs, like Barenaked Ladies. I can't remember the other ones, but I'm just so like I don't even know. Then, we finally got to go in there, the place was so small. They had pictures on the walls w/ autographs and a cardboard POY was on there from when Jewel played there a month ago. Anyway, it was dark and REALLY intimate in there. The dj who I know saved me a spot on the floor in the front! If I just reached my arm out I could touch Evan and Avril was maybe a foot away from me!! Evan was the only one with her and he didn't have any shoes on, but he had nice feet! There aren't that many artists who sound better live, but she is DEFINATLEY one of them!!!!! She only played like 4 or 5 songs, but it was definately my favorite concert ever!!! It was better than Jewel. MTV was there recording it and the radio station will be playing in next week for anyone who lives in Georgia. We got to ask questions, and I was the first one to ask a question. The dj came over to me and OMG, I like just went blank, I was like hi and she said hi and then I forgot what I was going to say and I said uh, um and she laughed. I was so starstruck! Finally, I asked when they were going on tour and if there was anyone she could go on tour with who would it be and she said Sum41 and they will tour in March. I didn't really listen to what else she said to me cause she was looking right at me and I was like WOW!! Then, at the end they wouldn't let us get autographs, but they had let us get in a line and take pictures with her so I went up to her and she gave me a hug and then I asked her if I could have one of her bracelets and she gave me one!!!!!! I don't even know if I even looked at the camera when the picture was taken. I told her they should hang out w/ us tonight. Oh yea, after the last song Evan through his pic right to me, but it went into a part of the speaker and my friend got it and then when they came back out I asked him for one and he gave it to me!!! She was so down to earth and sweet and funny!!! She's even prettier in person and she's really short and Evan is so hot!!!! Then, we left to go to the free concert that the radio station was having w/ her. We got right up to the gate where the stage was. She performed every song from the album! She totally just ROCKED OUT man!!!!! She played the guitar for one song. There were so many people there for her. When one of the dj's was saying who all was playing tonight which were like Janah or something, Better Than Ezra, Cracker, and someone else, Avril got the most screams! She totally just kicked ass!!!! All of her band were there. London is so freaking hot!! I love his hair! I got the setlist and it has footprints on it from her! lol! They were just cool. I'm just wow. Still can't get over this! I knew there was a reason that whole Michelle Branch thing happened to me. Avril is now like almost my favorite singer, she's just so I don't know. Jewel's still my favorite, but Avril is so close. This was definately the best night of my life!!!!!!!!!! She kicks ass!!!!!!! Sorry this was so long, but I don't care! B/c I met Avril!
