Ticketmaster? I was on a road trip when the pre-sale happened for the show closest to me (Chicago), so I missed that. Then, when the tickets went on sale regularly for that show, as well as the Sioux City and Des Moines shows, I got on within the first minute they were on sale, and still got seats that would appear to be almost halfway back. This kind of torques me off... Maybe it's just that I'm using a slow 'net connection, but it'd best not sully my Jewel experience. I'm sure I'll enjoy myself no matter where I sit, but I've been spoiled in the past by general admission seating at Red Rocks, by meeting Poltz, etc.So, does anyone else have !@#$%^&*! I've been to the pavillion before but not for concerts. Yup, I'm going... never been before, but lemme find the seating chart... http://www.ticketmaster.com/cgi/venues.idc?vaxname=ny2&venuenum=118 and then click on "venue information" on the left, and pick the seating chart from near the top of the screen... section 2 is in the center, one is right (if you're facing the stage) and three is left. Seating in section 2 goes from row A to row X, and then row Y to row DD. Sections 1 and 3 have rows C to HH. Sections 4, 5, and 6 are all in the mezzanine with G to V in section 5 (middle) and A to T in sections 4 and 6. So there are quite a few rows I guess you could say. High letters in either section 1, 2, or 3 would be best if you can get em :P > Also I work at KB Toys in New Hampshire. And Jewel has been on a > couple of > times.(we have a new cd each month.) I know someone mentioned living > in New > Englend to gear Jewel songs. > > Love Megan, the smiley angel =0) That was me :P Not sure what KB would be playing. But I've heard quite a few working in the Rhode Island Mall, including older ones like Who Will Save Your Soul, You Were Meant For Me, and Foolish Games and then songs like What's Simple Is True, Deep Water, Hands, Kiss The Flame (I think they've played this at least once), and Jupiter, and also new songs like Standing Still, Break Me, another that I can't think of right now, and most recently Til We Run Out Of Road. Well, to be fair, they've had a lot of big names on Unplugged. There are other names conspicuously missing too: Tori, LL Cool J... Most of those were really significant performances for the song in question. (I personally think Ironic is an overrated song, but hey, it meant a lot to a lot of people.) It's a tough job picking songs for a "best of" project. That's overall a pretty good list. Jewel will just have to wait for the inevitable Volume 2. :) Ray Ray Wong PO BOX 6163 negativl at best.com, negativl at rayw.com Hayward, CA 94540-6163 Member #11537, Deborah Gibson International Fan Club Co-Founder and Charter Member, Sutton Foster International Fan Club ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Jun 2002 21:57:46 +0000 From: "now and zen girl" Subject: [EDA] weeping tree lyrics???? hey everyone! im looking for the lyrics to weeping tree... i have been unsuccessful so far. i guess ill keep looking some more. but if anyone out there has them or knows them or knows where i could find them that would be really helpful! alisa - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: Click Here ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 03 Jun 2002 17:29:23 -0600 From: "Stacey Hamilton" Subject: Re: [EDA] jewels long setlists, cleveland video, crying during foolish games, nicotine lov But I think most of her Spririt tour shows came in around 16-20 songs.
