Haven't posted in six months but seeing as though I was sat front row at the Apollo last night for the Jewel gig I just have to gloat and say she was fantastic. And she even squeezed out a couple of numbers on her baby Taylor!! She took requests and even got a lass on stage for lyrics of 1000 Miles (was she an EDA?). Anyway, a fantastic gig and her guitarist was kind enough to give me a couple of pleccy's! I asked for a guitar but was turned down! And Jewel asked us how we knew so many old songs (I asked for 'Here When Gone'). All in all she was excellent. I've waited 5 years for her to come to me. She was worth every second. In manchester she weared a beautiful colourful shining pants and a beautiful nice blouse and cool boots. i think she looked amazing.the accoustic songs are great, she played violet eyes and this is just a great song....the way she sings it makes it great. the words , the whole song which is sad is beautiful.. she played another great song that was happy endings. i know that she played this cool song in berlin 1999. that was great.....then rachel came on stage because she remembered all the words from a 1000 miles away....i forgot to bring my lyricbook and she said you fail! i felt not so happy but still it was great to watch the song..... she rocked with morning song and with cold song.. the band parts were nice as well, and also cool were the new jazzy songs during the encore.....love me, leave me and the other woman are great... bye michiel ps will post more when i am at home...don't like the little keyboard...while i am now in an internetcafe in birmingham... ps 2 just one to go in may...and twelve to watch in america in september... _________________________________________________________________ Chat online met je vrienden en probeer MSN Messenger uit: http://messenger.msn.nl ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 30 May 2002 10:25:57 -0400 From: "*Miss* MeliS" Subject: [EDA] angelfood/9.16.95 Hey everyone!
