She was so sweet and lovely. She started with I won't walk away. She wore a black overtop and a jeans skirt with pink and black belt. She was wearing high boots! So she looked cute....the songs like standing still rocked, and she was really giving it a good shot. She started to talk a little with the audience and continued with do you want to play. Then she continued with Jesus love you. That is of course also a very lovely song. Hands was also a bonus what really sounded excellent. Till we run out of road.. I really liked that song and This Way. That is one of my favourite album tracks. The song break me still is lovely even with band i quite like the way jewel interpret the song...and they performed what simple is true......and of course she played the you were meant for me song. Then the absolute bonus and what we all looked so much forward to was the fact that she started to grab her guitar to play ACCOUSTIC SONGS!! Yeah you read it well!! She told her doctor not to strum....She said she hadn't played so long that her fingers will be bruised... The crowd was so enthusiastic, they really started to shout out the song......Little sister was the first accoustic jewel sang on her "baby" accoustic guitar.....That was so sweet view,the singer jewel with her little guitar to give something back to the fans....i really felt so HAPPY... She sang accoustic songs which was so brilliant, that really made my day. I am grateful that i have attended this song....the voice of jewel is still beautiful.....the crowd went really to excitement...at least i enjoyed this moment very much!! Hey hey.......hey....oohoohooho.....hey little siter you went to mr. solenzo.........WHOOOOOOOO!!! The crowd is so happy......again jewel asked me if she sanged it good...i told her so that made her happy....she said it felt good to play... She said what kind of fans are you, keep listening to old records....we are going to play new songs... That was really the brilliant thing that happened....but she ignored the cold song request and she started to sing Violet eyes....the song that she wrote for a best friend Jacqueline Snyder who passed away of cancer 3 years ago..... Spend a while ........i am drifting as a gyspy from town to town...i been to french and rome.....wow this song is so sweet, and the people were so silent.....that is unbelievable..... i really am touched even when i am now sitting at the easy internet cafe to repost this review... See your violet eyes...................seasons come and seasons pass....time can be............i know there must be something.....i see your violet eyes.... Then Jewel sang as last song the Morning song from the Pieces of you record....i was so much impressed and happy that the hero that i like so much was trying to do the thing that she like so much to sing with the accoustic guitar.... So great!!!It is a great feeling,i am walking on a cloud now.... The rest of the evening was beautiful,with Life uncommon, serve the ego.....love me just leave me alone (which was really the best version i ever heard,the band and jewel give a great song).......everybody needs someone sometime....new wild west and who will save your soul... Here's some info about the concerts of the last 2 days : Ty was there on sunday (Portsmouth) Lenedra was there yesterday (RAH London) Jewel plays ACCOUSTIC !!!! with a tiny guitar yesterday at the RAH (and maybe tonight too). The portsmouth concert was great even it here was not so many people. UK crowd is very passive and it is not like the brussel concert wich was really impressive... the most rocky crowd ever. The RAH concert of yesterday was great because jewel gave the maximum of herself in this incredible venue (which you can look fully without turning your head !) but again, the crowd was really passive except your dedicated foreign 1st row fans... We can't approach jewel since she has been injured and she has a bodyguard for this. Michiel the dutch jewelfan (and I think Chris (UK) and me too) is watched a lot by the bodyguard which seems really to wonders why and how he's doing all this concerts... Jewel asked how michiel does all those concerts at the portsmouth concert... but he could not fully replied so he did it by letter he gave in london. She plays almost songs in a new way almost each week and they now perfectly plays Serve the Ego, my fav on the new album. She also played violet eyes and made some nina simone covers. I suggest you to read the Official UK forum posts for more information about concerts content. That's fun travelling with Chris & Michiel, especially discovering our bad hotels. I personnaly got a lot of troubles these firsts days with transports destinations misunderstandings and also with my credit card wich was not working yesterday for un unknown reason... you can't guess how you feel nude without money it a foreign country !
