All I have to say is "wow..."-- it was absolutely incredible. What made it all the more bittersweet was the fact that there was a mob of Fred Phelps (radically anti-homosexual, among other things.... basically spreads hate no matter where he steps foot) followers picketing my school outside the Performing Arts Center door-- but inside was the wonderful play...... and the music of our very own Jewel. Before the play "Pieces of You" filled the PAC and at the end, very fittingly, "Angel Standing By" was playing. You can imagine the atmosphere-- picketers, coupled with the Matthew Shepard story and Jewel. (And Ani [32 Flavors and another I didn't recongnize] too-- thought you'd like that, Scott) If you ever get the chance to see the "Laramie Project", I highly recommend it.
