Something that looks nice would be a great bonus, and shipping charges would not get outrageous for this little project. How many pages can be included in the journal? What sizes do they come in? So my good friend Wes came down from Baton Rouge to go to Jazzfest with me to see Counting Crows, and they rocked, my legs hurt from bouncing...they are so good live...as much as it's wonderful to see them in intimiate surroundings, you don't get to hear them in a festival type situation too much so that was awesome. So anyway, then we drove to Baton Rouge to see Stevie P. (Steve Poltz for you crackheads that don't know who I mean). When he finally got there at about 11:15, he came in wearing pajamas, and Wes yanked him to say hi. When he walked over, I hugged him, and he leaned his head on my shoulder and went "awwwwww" (hehehe). I asked if I could sing with him again, he said yeah...then he went and talked to other people and (sadly) took off the pajamas and put on real people clothes. He started playing I guess around 11:45, and a few minutes before that I heard his manager (who's getting married today, the reason Steve's in town) telling someone that he had a bad fever and he threw up before he came, but he's never missed a show so he came anyway. He definitely did great for being sick. So anyway, he played for about 45 minutes and then said good night...I was a little sad, but I knew he was sick so I wouldn't let myself get down about the short set and the fact that I didn't get to sing with him again, but then everyone clapped and he came back for an encore (the longest encore I've ever seen). After a couple of songs, he started to play Impala and I got a bit upset, but then he looked down to see if it was me and signaled for me to get up there, so I did. =) Cigarette in hand and all, and I was cool. ;-) =) I didn't even realize I was nervous this time until I got off the stage and my legs were all shakey, but the really cool part happened right before I left the stage. =) He kissed me on the cheek and said "You fucking rock, girl" then he kissed me again and said "what's your name again?" I said Jamie and he kissed me again (hehehehehe) and said "I fucking love you Jamie" (tehehehee) so then before we left I went to tell him bye and I kissed him on the cheek and gave him a hug and he said it was fun and kissed me twice then he was talking to the guy next to me, but he was holding my hands and swinging them and stuff and he wouldn't let go, and I sure wasn't gonna let go (teheheheheee) and then I left. Another cool thing happened after I left...Steve and Wes were talking and Wes is having breakfast with Steve tomorrow morning and taking him to the airport...I'm so tempted to drive back to Baton Rouge...if I had a working car right now I so would. On a last note...I love my boyfriend...he's very understanding of my love for Stevie P. =) He was in the audience and next to me when Stevie was swinging my arms.
