I think that's probably the issue (in my opinion). They stopped making singles originally to make more money off the cd's, but it backfired and caused people to look elsewhere to find the one song they were looking for. Another thing that annoys me is the singles that just had the single and maybe another album song on it. I have always believed that more singles would be sold if they included unreleased songs that you can't get on the actual album. People who are huge fans of a band/singer are more likely to get the singles in addition to the album if it has songs they can't otherwise hear. Bands demo at least 30 songs for a single album, but only 10 or so actually get released. Occasionally, singles would include an unreleased song or two, but that's all over. Most of the time, those unreleased demos never make it to future albums either. Mostly new songs are usually recorded (many of which will again never be heard by fans). I think it's a shame that most fans never get to hear the majority of an artist's songs...especially those people who are diehard fans. If your emasil address hints at your location please do not email stations out of your area. But if your email address is aol.com, hotmail.com, msn.com, or anything that doesnt have your location please request everywhere you can. Obviously they can tell where phone calls come from so only call stations in your area. And keep websites and email addresses of your local stations coming for us that can request. Also maybee try and request at random times, not right when you get the email from the list, if they all of the sudden get 10 emails in an hour and then none for the rest of the week that also will seem a little suspicious. Finally, I really think this song can do well, it may not be getting many increses on spins per week but it hasn't started loosing spins yet, this song just may be very slow to catch on. Foolish Games was the same way, it was very slow to catch on because YWMFM was such a big hit, but it ended up being huge. Everyone request the hell out of Break Me, we can do it. I love this song and want it to do well.
