I've found out about so many artists who I really love now because they were support acts - Tom McCrae, Jude, Kosheen, Miles, Mary Timony... I've since bought all their albums and I wouldn't have if they didn't support people. Last year I went to see Robbie Williams with my mum just because Ash and JJ72 were supporting! And as I said I'm going to see Sum 41 tomorrow because Reel Big Fish are supporting! Support acts can be great! I've only seen one support act that I didn't like. But I really don't see M2M being that great. If they prove me wrong, good, but I really don't see it happening. I hate it when people talk over the support act at shows - it's rude and obnoxious and how would you feel if people were talking over you? However, if M2M are bad, feel free to throw eggs and shout abuse at 'em. Luckily it's only mentioned that it'll be M2M supporting the US tour. So us Europeans still have a chance to have a half-decent support act. <> That'd be cool though, but they're probably too big. I'm off to see them on Wednesday, and that should be a great show. Wonder who's supporting 'em? :) Tom Fan of... They are Atlantic Records artist's , I'm sure they are hooking them up with Jewel so they can gain some momentum. I have never heard of them, I heard some of their music on their website and it's not that bad..(damn I want the Spice Girls back !) :) , but they are from Norway, the land of A-HA and ...and....Roxette? ..Ace of Base...:)??? help me out here.. LOL But, kiddin' aside, one the girls loves Cat Stevens, anyone who loves Cat has my respect, specially if you were born after 1976. He's always been my favorite male singer-songwriter..bad for me that he went all Muhammed, good for him :) so..let's give these girls a chance , how about it?? peace Uri ------------------------------ End of jewel-digest V7 #72 **************************
