It's very satirical, but kinda funny. :-) Anyway, caught my attention at the concert, and on a ben folds mailing list I'm on, someone wrote in that they will be performing this song tomorrow night on Conan. Tomorrow should be great fun. I've just had word that Tom Proven and his fiance Tiffany have come in from Pennsylvania for the Ice CapEDA's in New York City tomorrow. Several others have written that they may attend as well. I just realized that it may be hard for new people to recognize us (aside from the fact that we will be a large group of noisy adults with 2 pre-teen children in tow). I haven't really figured out how to rectify that situation other than that Rob Campbell will be wearing a dark blue Michigan ski cap with a big yellow "M" on it. I know some other EDAs (Kelly was one of them) were talking about him a while back, but I got the disc on a splurge at Target.. It's really, really good.. Every track is very listenable and well-written.. I'd consider him a cross between...maybe...Steve Poltz and Dave Matthews? I don't know, he's really good.. BTW - Check out the up-and-coming rack at Target.. That's where I get all my stuff.. I got John, Hoobastank, and Default from there, each CD being only $9.99.. I also got Nelly Furtado and Poe on that rack back when those CDs just came out.. So, yeah, pay attention and you might get some good deals..
