The miss qoute of Jesus Loves You could be an honest mistake. As for the validity of the whole email I checked it out and it was totally legit. It's just a fan club started after the release of This Way. I chatted with the girl and she's cool and I'm pretty sure she's on this list in one form or another. As for how they came about the address' to send to she said her friend and co-founder of the site looked them up somewhere. I'm sure he searched for people with Jewel listed as an interest somewhere. Hope that clears some things up. - -Billy - ---------- >From: RockerGrl34@aol.com >To: jewel@smoe.org >Subject: [EDA] *wierd e-mail >Date: Wed, Dec 26, 2001, 10:50 AM > > Did anyone else get this e-mail? Isn't it "A Night Without Armour?" and > did she not misquote 'Jesus Loves You?' seems fishy.... ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Dec 2001 21:58:17 EST From: Cember76@aol.com Subject: [EDA] chasing down the dawn I just starting reading chasing down the dawn today and it made me feel like I haven't really done anything with my life. Like the stories that she tells are just so amazing they are experiences that I will feel that I will never even come close to having. I want to do so much more with my life have so many more experiences to remember. I don't just want to dream about them I want to live them and experience life to it's fullest. Just seems so natural. And make memories that will last many life times. I think I just need to look at things and change them to be the way that I would like them to be. Make my life more amazing. Not that it's not already amazing in many ways but just more ways. I don't want to spend my life working and coming home. That's not a life it's a routine. I want to be spontaneous. Just do things. Be free.... The misspelling was "Knight" instead of "Night". ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Dec 2001 23:08:36 EST From: JeWeLzKeWL@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] chasing down the dawn Hey..I know the same feeling..I felt that way too when I was reading her book and I guess it's true but when you look at it, your own life is amazing in its own way because it's yours and nobody else's and life is all a perspective..Situations affect people in different ways..So..you may never do half the things Jewel did, but she couldnt've done what you've done either because they're your own and that's what's special about them. And remember that not only living, but dreaming is extremely essential. - -Jade *Tiny Angel* ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 26 Dec 2001 20:10:10 -0800 From: "Crystal Ackles" Subject: Re: [EDA] little things we love about Jewel My most favorite thing that Jewel does (and is the reason I became obcessed in the end) is the facial expressions she makes when she's deep into her perfomance.
