Is this true? Also, in the National Post interview she said her diamond ring was a gift from her mom but I thought before she said it was from her label. Is this another ring? Oh yeah, she said she might get her teeth fixed later! :( Take Care, Kristin "Just like chocolate-I love it!" - -Jewel "MTV: Unplugged" Listen to Jewel's new song "Standing Still" @: http://www2.fanscape.com/jewel/streetteam/standingstillaudiord.asp ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2001 22:21:09 EST From: Cember76@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] jewelstock In a message dated 12/12/2001 7:26:03 AM Pacific Standard Time, Pixi42@aol.com writes: > after the recent e-mails about jewelstock, i feel as though i missed out on > something wonderful. now being fairly new eda i have not had the chance to > hear any of this performance. i would be ever so grateful to anyone who > could make copies for me:) if u are willing to do this, please e-mail me > privately:) > > heidi }:}i{:{ > Me too! I also feel that I have missed out on somethig wonderful. It would be awesome if Jewel could do a Jewelstock2. But I doubt that would ever happen and if it did I don't think it would be and EDA exclusive kind of thing. But it's fun to dream. Jewelstock 2 did sort of happen.... only it wasn't Jewelstock, it was NashBash. And it also wasn't a 2 day concert event either.... just one show. Both were EDA events, and both were used for recording her albums. cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2001 22:40:06 EST From: Spirit1924@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Japanese Jewel release stuff~ Hey Angels, I was trying to remember a old e-mail from an EDA in Japan that said Jewel's fav. food there and stuff that was said on a interview and how Jewel was reading Grapes of Wrath and listen to some thing about science on audio her friend made her. Could this kind EDA from Japan send it to me again? Please! There aren't many places you can go to see Jewel in michigan and get that close to the stage, so i thought it was cool. Well they might pick and choose privately, but I doubt it, and anyway what does that say? I am strictly referring to the people who bleated on about this issue and have since smugly sat on their arses and have done zilch to correct it. So who are you people complaining about? If you already have it, and aren't offering it, and then go on and on about how great it is...well, see if you can smell the hypocrisy. It was played back in '96 and supposedly teased at Jewel's MTV TRL appearance a few years back 2.)Nicotine Love - Prob'ly my favorite Jewel song 3.)Emily - Powerful and soothing at the same time 4.)Down So Long - old acoustic version 5.)Jessica - Sad and inspiring at the same time 6.)Angel Needs a Ride - Kickass vocals 7.)Nikos - Sad, great lyrics, not the Brother version, the Jewelstock era one 8.)Stephenville - A newer Jewel song that I just think is really honest and likeable 9.)Do You - Perhaps acoustic, have to throw an album song on here somewhere 10.)Amen - OK, two album tracks, this song really rips when it's done right Honorable mention: Boy Needs a Bike, RaceCar Driver, God's Gift to Women, Here When Gone, See Sassy, Fading Away, Moon Over Austin, etc etc etc Sean Hooks ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 12 Dec 2001 21:19:51 -0800 (PST) From: Tracy Hale Subject: Re: [EDA] NJC: lol Well, in your case you'd be hugging the tree while eating the candy lol. I'm just playing, since you call yourself a tree hugger :-). From the way you say it though, Christmas does seem a little strange. Heres something else strange, people makeing, buying, and/or giving away fruit cake when most people don't like it, ya know. Just something I was thinking about :-).
