I said I had visions of her and Garth singing Everybody Loves Someone Sometime....well ok, some say I never admit I'm wrong, but I'll admit it this time...I ADMIT I got the *song* wrong. :-b HAHAHA...nnneeeway.....I see a blockbuster country album in Jewel's future, and when I saw Garth singing along with her to her song, THEN for her to perform whatI'm assuming was one of his songs, or if not, then indeed a COUNTRY song...well, it seems pretty obvious now. Unless of course we see her next week or month sitting in on a performance with Staind or Linkin Park. ;-) I won't hold my breath. Oh well...I'm sure she gained alot more fans tonight...country fans that is, so I guess that's good from a marketing aspect, as well as for Atlantic...which I'm sure was at least one reason they had her do this show with Garth. Anyone teaming up with someone like Garth is going to gain tons of exposure, that's just a given. Maybe they thought Jewel needed the added boost since it's been a few years, who really knows. But I'm sure tonight's performance couldn't have hurt. By the way, her tummy looked nice. :-) (see, I said something GOOD...for those who think I never do...haha) I felt sorry for t-bone and the lead guitarist though, they were in the shadows the whole time...I guess just being on the "wrong" side of the stage. But that other acoustic guitarist sure got valuable TV time standing next to Garth. Well all in all it was an ok performance I guess, but it would have been better if I was a country music fine, which I'm not. Or it would have been better if it were Aerosmith up there with her singing Dream On, or Dude Looks like Lady...lol.
