She should climb into the Top 30 next week. Maybe this will even be a Top 20 hit for her!! The success of this single sales-wise bodes quite well for the album sales down there! Seems the tabs are all in just plain text format, so as long as your printer is set up properly, you should be able to go into "Print" under the file menu of your browser and print them out. If that doesn't work, load the page with the tabs you want and save it. Just change the extension to .txt, and then you should be able to print it from within whatever text editor you use. I was searching around on the net the other day for a place to buy some Innocence Mission music videos that I'd never seen. Apparently, unless you taped the videos when they originally aired, you're out of luck. This does seem VERY bizarre. It seems there would be a lot of money to be made on something like this. I recently saw a collection of Juliana Hatfield videos (taped from TV) sell for over a hundred dollars on an auction site. There are very few things in this world that can't be purchased. But it seems in a lot of cases no amount of money will let me see a video that I missed when it first aired. Strange. In my years in journalism, we always looked to the LA Times. LA Times is not only the trendsetter for layout design, but also for content. The review may not be positive and the reviewer may not have been a good reviewer, but LA Times is not a paper that shouln't be read. They win a lot of journalism awards and I don't think we should put them down because of that one review. The magazine is kinda off beat and humorous, and they usually include questions of the same nature, if that helps any of you. She debuted on the Hot 100 this week, which is a good sign. Also, just over the past day or so she recieved 9 more CHR/POP adds, 6 of which are in relatively large markets. She was added to stations in Nashville, Knoxville, Oklahoma City, San Diego (KHTS - one of our target stations), McAllen/Brnsville, & Pittsburg.. plus three more. I've updated the radio campaign page according to the JeweLink message. I've taken down the email addresses of music directors and simply left up any request pages/emails. Also, I've added the advice that you only request once a day - and if you live in an area that recieves the stations, that helps too. So everyone keep requesting! All the record stores in HighPoint were playing it which was cool. One of the joys about being in Oz is that we're a day ahead of everyone else. Anyways, interestingly we got three bonus tracks (Grey Matter, SIBTW, and A Long Slow Slide). I did not know ALSS was gonna be on it. As well it's rated PG in Oz so you gotta be over 15 to listen to the album so thats bad news for Ciara (haha). Standing Still has also moved up four positions to #32. With the album out this week SS could be on its way for a Top 20 position. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 11 Nov 2001 19:39:34 -0800 From: "Elizabeth Nguyen" Subject: [EDA] November 13th Wow, November 13 is a big day for Jewel ... lots of stuff happening for her that day. I've gone a little Michelle Branch crazy ;) so haven't been reading many of the mails on the list. Anyways, I just got my copy of "This Way" today and I've only listened to the first few songs but the album sounds great so far. I especially liked "This Way" when I heard it and I also love the versions of "Break Me" and "Do you want to play?". I may give a full review a bit later on once I've listened to the album a few more times, but from my first listen of the first few songs to about half way through Cleveland I think the album is going to be Jewel's best, and I thank her for making another great album. Also it gives me something to listen to while I wait for my Michelle Branch CD's from the states ;) Take Care Daniel Visit my Michelle Branch page at http://wizard.dreaming.org "There is a paradise that can be found...
