Incidentally for those of us in the UK, www.play247.com have reduced This Way to #9.99 which is much less than you'd pay in the shops for a domestic copy when it's finally released! It's not natural for a woman to have a firm flat stomach... you have to work to get that. It's a natural curve of a woman's body.... and I say "go Jewel!" for being so natural and NOT conforming to the american beauty standard that you have to be 5'7" and a size 3. Also, I say "Go Jewel!" for being comfortable enough with her (beautiful) figure to wear crop tops. Sean, you can't REALLY put her confidence in herself to shame, can you? Just because he says he's a songwriter doesn't mean thats all he does... A real estate agent can't write songs? A songwriter can't have another source of income? Real Esate Agents or songwriters don't go to bars that have kareoke? Its not possible for one in MI to have Nashville contacts? I write songs (they suck, but i still write them). I'm a cashier and a student. I go to bars and clubs occasionally. And I don't have contacts, but I know of someone who does. He May not have contacts in Nashville, but he still has contacts. Does that sound far fetched? A student/cashier/photographer/songwriter who likes to go out and drink who knows someone with contacts? I'm not saying this guy is telling the truth, but its not fair to say that he's lying if he's not. cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 28 Oct 2001 15:12:38 -0500 From: Paul Schreiber Subject: Re: [EDA] japanese release? I was at my school's production of "Carnival" (went decent for the amount of talent my actors had--I was the asst. director) and I totally forgot about it. So around 7:00 I called my mom and was like, "please tape the national anthem tonite for the world series cuz JEWEL is going to perform!!!!" she was like ok. but i told her it began at 8:00 PM because it is what I heard from everybody else around here. So I came home from the cast party all bummed out because I was reading about how it really began at 7:30 and I thought I didn't have it. But my dad said that as he was flipping channels, he saw a girl get up to sing for a baseball game, so for the heck of it, he began recording. AND IT WAS JEWEL!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!! She sounded absolutely beautiful! I wish I could have it on a cd to listen to forever and ever and ever! JEWEL ROCKS!! well anywho, that's my story! Talk to you all later!
