I just wanted to tell everyone that I recorded the KCRW (If thats what its called) interview from my computer on to a cassette. Thing is, is that it came out with a lot of tape hiss that can be fixed. What cannot be fixed is that since I was streaming, and I don't have a cable modem, my player kept rebuffering. It has debuted on the MuchMoreMusic Countdown at position #27 (it has only been playing since Friday.. pretty good!). That shows often during the week. Go to www.muchmoremusic.com to see. It's on tonight (Monday) at ten. Usually they show the debuts first.. so it'll probably be the first video shown. - -Secondly - Jewel has had fairly significant increases in radio play on pop radio just over the past few days.. the full information will be available later in the week.. but keep calling pop radio stations because it seems clear they're catching on! This song has the potential to be a huge hit on radio if it can continue to get increased airplay on Pop stations.. so it's important that you call! - -Thirdly - the single has been doing pretty well in Japan! I got bored over the weekend and decided to investigate how the song has been doing on Japanese radio. Here's a little information: Tokyo Hot 100 - #85 (last week: #90) Sapporo Hot 100 - #65 (last week: #65) Kanazawa Hot 100 - #63 (last week: #71) I thought that was somewhat interesting.
