Wooohooo, after phoning around, I managed to get my personal copy two days early!!! All I can say is it's excellent. Wonderful. First time Ive heard all of SS, as I wanted it to be a suprise, and all I can say, is that I love it! I know it's going to be one of those songs that get stuck in your head. Love it!!! I really hope it does well for Jewel, she diserves it. A Long Slow Slide is also great. Lovely to hear a live song with just Jewel and her guitar on a single. I like this song. Stephenville, what can I say? Same old Stephenville, just slower, less whiney, a few differences in lyrics, I probably like this version more. All I know is that I love when they have video moniters near/on the stage and they add effects to enhance the performance. I loved her being in a amphitheatre last time I saw her becuase of the screens and I think she adapted well to such a big crowd. So what I'm saying is why doesn't she do a smaller arena tour opposed to a theatre tour. And when I say smaller arena I mean by size of the venue, not size of the tour. It be able to hold about 1,000 more than the theatre, so more people could go unless she did multiple-nights in the major cities. When she came to Mliwaukee in 1999, there were about 10,000 at the concert. If she did an arena tour and came to Milwaukee she'd either go to the US Cellular Arena which hold abou 6,000, or the audiotorium which holds about 4,000. But if she did a theatre tour, the only concert theatre in milwaukee is the Riverside which holds 2,500. So more fans wouldn't be albe to attend unless she did a few nights here. What do you guys think?
