CDBaby.com is holding a contest for their artists for the month of october. if i'm a top 100 seller, one of my songs will be included on a compilation album that they'll be sending to 1,000 customers. not too shabby :) what's so cool about this is that the last time they held this contest, the 100th "top seller" only sold 4 albums that month. so this is definitely not out of the realm of possibility. i don't need to sell one billion records to be a top seller (though i would be #1 if i did... :)). it's just a hop, skip, and a jump away: www.cdbaby.com/erinwaters everything you need is there. soundclips, bio, and a place to order if you like what you hear. cdbaby.com is cool that way :) my album is listed for $12 - - it'll STILL be less than what you'll pay for the new britney album at tower after S&H. ;) thankyouthankyouthankyou! best, erin ps- i am re-assembling my street team, too... specifically looking for people on the west coast. if you're interested, drop me a line and i can send you more info! hope to hear from you :) pps- is anyone else elated that "sometimes it be that way" will be on the album?! and acoustic! ahhhhh, total bliss. www.erinwaters.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2001 09:52:12 -0700 (PDT) From: Kris Tetzlaff Subject: [EDA] Jesus Loves You Chords here I took the time to figure out the chords for "Jesus Loves You". I know we had a thread going a while back about College EDAs and where they were going to school, etc. I just wanted to pose a question to all those currently in college: Do you ever feel that the environment insulates you too much? Every campus is like it's own little world, and while that's neat and kinda nice, I sometimes feel like I need to put my hands back in the dirt. In other words, actively participate and not just learn. While I am involved in service projects and other "real world" things, I sometimes feel that I'm losing a part of me that makes me me. Anyone know what I mean? I'm interested in putting together some kind of an art project, maybe poetry, fiction, artwork and photographs, done by college students who feel they need to create as well as learn. Anyone interested? Just throwing ideas out :) Love,Sarah - the arts angel - :) - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2001 22:05:02 EDT From: Mattman8818@aol.com Subject: [EDA] "Jewel Fan Of The Month" As part of my new website, "Standing Still", which makes its premier on Nov 13, we will feature a new fan of the month each month. Man... I thought I was the only one who imagined a country line dance to that song... lol, the first time I heard it, the guitar riff thing, sounded like a country rock song.... I like it and all.... but I can totally imagine people in cowboy boots doing a little choreographed thing, especially during the chorus..... heehee... I think I'm goint to invent an actual line dance for this song.... :) Maybe Ty will dance with me, hoyeah! cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 13 Oct 2001 23:03:13 -0400 From: "Amanda" Subject: [EDA] NJC: AOL LIVE answer Well, I am a paid AOL member, and out of curiosity, i was looking at the volunteer positions available in teh AOL live area. I found one, im not sure of the exact title of the position, but the description was ... "AOL Live Typists are responsible for typing and broadcasting, in real time, the responses of celebrity guests and newsmakers to questions presented during AOL Live events in the auditoriums. Typists will be in direct contact with guests, and as such must conduct themselves appropriately. Brief information sheets will be provided to typists before each event, so they can familiarize themselves with the guest or topic." So If this is EVERY guest, I do not know, but that is what the description says. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 14 Oct 2001 00:03:28 -0400 From: Kris Kelley Subject: [EDA] I SO suck Hey all, I suck, because I was SO SO SO sick this past week, and never read the posts....I have no idea what you are talking about!!
