My offer goes out to five people, at this point. I'm giving away 3 custom jewel CD's, they aren't "complete" shows, but single songs from random shows.... If you're chosen, I will give you a list of all her unreleased songs that I have, and you can choose whichever songs you'd like to hear. I'm also giving away 2 video tapes. This video offer, is of course, unfortunately limited to only those in the states/canada, or those who have VCR's/TV's capable of playing NTSC format, and will the same as the CD (I'll send you a list) but the CD's go out to any new members from anywhere. This is completely free, and what I want from you is a POEM! Even if you aren't a poet, this isn't necessarily going to be based on my assessment of your poetic skills....this can be a poem of any type, on any subject, but please try and make it longer than 3 lines =P I want a bit of effort here :) If you are really unpoetic, you can send in a story, I *suppose* ;) I'd like to be able to post your effort to the list as well, once I've chosen the winners, that is of course, if Mike doesn't mind :) The two conditions I have (ah-ha - there is a catch!) of the winning members are these: 1.) If at all possible in the future, if you have any spare time/money etc. that you "pay it forward", and offer something for free to someone else out of the goodness of your heart :) and 2.) You can't complain about how long I take, especially concerning the video tapes :) I'm doing this regardless of the fact that I'm *very* busy right now, because I'd like to help those new list members out.... it takes a while to dub a tape from various tapes, etc. so no complaining! I will do it as fast as possible, and no, you won't have to wait until Thanksgiving 2004 to receive them, but don't expect that they'll be there in 5 days either. I will accept entries until....lets say, Wednesday will be the last day. I will then have picked the winners by Friday, and upon posting the winners and entries to the list (if it's okay with Mike, again) I will also notify each individual privately by mail, and send the list of songs/tv stuff. You are free to enter for both a video tape, and a CD (please specify which in your email) but they require seperate entries, and unfortunately, you can't win both. Ahaha, I know I'm making this "contest" more complicated then needed, and this is a super long email, but hey, if you don't like, don't enter =P So once again, please only new list members or other members who don't have angelfood, the whole point of this contest is to help new people discover what all the older list members already know - that Jewel kicks ass live, and is much more talented than her released CD's give her credit for (not putting them down though, I love them both!).
