Ok, I bring this up due to listening to Tom Petty's Wildflowers.... scenerio 
begins..
I'm sitting in my boyfriend's car listening to Wildflowers, when I realize... 
Steve Poltz sounds sooo much like Tom Petty and I could totally see them 
singing each other's songs... a sort of folky beat with some mention of drugs 
or strange comments mixed in...
What do you think, are they long lost brothers or is it just my imagination?

Subject: [EDA] Oh well.. Good feeling while it lasted..

I was so looking forward to going to Nashville.. This would have been the
perfect first experience seeing Jewel, but it looks like I've exhausted all
of my transportation options.. I live in midwestern North Carolina, only a
few hours from Nashville, but I don't have a car (get one in just a few
months) and can't get anyone to take me.. Life can be a supreme bitch...lol.
Oh well, I guess I'm just glad I never let myself think 100% that I was
going.. So, yeah.. I won't even think about it that much, and then I'll be
bummed on Sunday night, and then I'll be bitter when I read all the happy
emails describing the set, and then I'll eventually get over it.. There
doesn't happen to be anyone who is passing through NC that can pick me up,
is there? Dangit, I (and a lot of other nice people) worked hard to plan out
this trip, and now I can't even go.. :-(
