Hi all, We want to update you on how Jewel is doing and plans for our private concert with The EDAs. Jewel is bouncing back and will be resting this week, with a full recovery expected by week's end. Although this cannot be predicted with 100% accuracy, she wants to go ahead and reschedule the private concert for this coming Sunday evening, which should please all of the EDAs who wrote us requesting a weekend rescheduling. The private EDA concert is now scheduled for the same time, same place, next Sunday evening in Nashville, barring anything unforeseen. We are advising everyone to read your email on a daily basis during this week, if you were invited and still plan to attend. Over the next three days (today, Tuesday and Wednesday), we are going to re-finalize the guest list and we need every invitee's co-oporation to make this work-intensive process as painless as possible. We've thought about how best to do this and determined that all invitees on the original EDA guest list are all still invited. You all know who you are and we have that list and know exactly who these EDAs (and their guests) are. If you can still make it, great, but I need you to follow these instructions: To the restored JewelConcert@aol.com account, reconfirm if you can make it this Sunday night or cancel if you cannot make it. If you plan on joining us, please include your phone # (just in case a situation arises) and if you need to change your guest. I will reply asap reconfirming you and your guest, just like before. I need every EDA already on our guest list to follow this step by Wednesday night if you still want to attend. If we don't hear from you over the next three days, you and your guest will be replaced on the guest list, so please reply asap if you still want to attend this Sunday night. Now, onto the next issue. We realize some of the guest list EDAs will be unable to make it this Sunday. That means openings are going to become available on the EDA guest list. We thought the best way to deal with this aspect of things is to allow people who were originally invited, but could not make it, first chance at it. We're hoping that approximately the same amount of people that now cancel can be filled by EDAs who had to previously cancel or did not RSVP. You all know who you are and we also have that list and know exactly who has been invited. So, if you were previously invited, but had to cancel, and now you can make it, I need you to follow these instructions: (This only applies to EDAs already invited, but who cancelled or couldn't previously go.) To the restored JewelConcert@aol.com account, let us know that you were previously invited, but had to cancel and you can now make it on Sunday night. Please include your phone # (just in case a situation arises) and let us know who your guest will be. For every cancellation from the old guest list, one new invite will go out to this group of EDAs. If we reach Thursday morning and we see that cancellations have opened up a few more seats, at that time I'll post a call for other EDAs who wish to attend. If you were not already invited, please do not write us saying you wish to attend yet. We know exactly who has been previously invited and we cannot accept emails from others before Thursday. All invitees who follow the above instructions should also include your own full name so we don't have to match it up with email addresses. (Also remember to send the requested info to JewelConcert@aol.com and not reply to this message directly!!) Other than that, lets see if we can maintain the EDA secrecy of this event until its over, so that it remains a comfortable experience for everyone. I think that about covers it. OK. Here we go.
