And we thought that JewelStock would never happen again. Okay, I admit I wasn't at the original Jewlstock and that Nashville probably won't have the same feel, but it's certainly nothing to complain about. Except maybe that you live in Australia (or any other non-US residence) and therefore have basically zero chance of getting there!! At least I have my memories of hanging with EDA's at Storytellers. If you live in the US, then you should be begging, borrowing or stealing (okay, not stealing!!) the funds to get there and enjoy it. Hi to every one at Bearsville. See you in 2002. Or have they already? I sent in the form as soon as I got it, and I was just wondering. Hopefully it will be sorta in advance, the 30th is only 10 days away and that isn't very long to make plans to get to Nashville. Especially when you're just 18 and live in West Virginia. Alright... so if anyone knows when we find out, that would be great.. Guess what? Ride With the Devil is going to premier here in Peru? Who could imagine it? 1 year and a half after its release in the US!! I guess it was because of the success of Croucing Tiger (another Ang Lee movie)! I'm so excited, and it was funny because I saw the poster yesterday when I went to the cinema because of my birthday... thanks for the present Jewel! ;) I guess it would also premier in other South American countries (I know it premiered in Brazil at the start of the year I think, but no in other S. American countries). It's funny, I had lost my hope on seeing it because here we usually get the movies 3 or 4 months after their release in the US, sometimes even faster... and, well, 1 year and a half its an anomaly!!! But I'm so glad!! Take care, Mirko *angel from Peru* Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo! Yesterday (July 21st) was my birthday and Jewel gave me 2 presents (indirectly obviously). First, when I went to the movies yesterday, I saw the poster for Ride With The Devil in the cinema under the title of (To be premiered soon). What a great surprise! Then, she invited me to the recording session / concert in Nashville via e-mail, that was sweet of you, Jewel! (Well, thanks Mr. BB), but fortunately I can't go because 1. I'm not a resident of the US and 2. I can't go to Nashville or the US by July 30th But thanks anyway for the presents, Jewel, they were great ;) Mirko *angel from Peru* P.S. But, since she can probably get many other for free, I'll forget about it. But, I'm not so desperate to see Jewel that I would spend my own money on an airplane ticket to Nashville. I'll go if Jewel wants to put me up in a nice hotel. Then I can sing back up on one of her songs...hahaha! (no joke she'd be lucky to have be. But I'm being obnoxious...let me go). Although I myself am thinking that they will certainly film this Nashville/EDA event in some format, I highly doubt this will ever be on television. That's not the purpose as I read it. She's recording her CD now, we all know that, so this is quite, no make that HIGHLY likely for live tracks for possible inclusion on the next CD. Doesn't mean they'll use them....it all depends on how it all comes out and if they like it for the CD. Here's another interesting aspect to all of this EDA-wise....next July we'll have the 5th Bearsville Reunion (BV2002) and maybe the first Nashville Reunion (NV2002) :-) Mike :-) ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Jul 2001 16:51:35 EDT From: FallinPixi@aol.com Subject: [EDA] she's back in NASHVEGAS!
