The song might be about faith, but it's just as likely to be about some hypocritical minister who uses the phrase, or a love song about a Mexican man (Jesus isn't exactly a rare name among certain ethnic groups, though it's generally pronounced differently than people seem to expect). The title could be an ironic use of the phrase, in other words.
