Lucky Angel ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Jul 2001 17:23:45 -0700 (PDT) From: liz lee Subject: [EDA] my two cents on album news Before I start, I'm thrilled to say I got my Pro-Voice tickets. Oh yeah! This is so cool. Except that it's on a Thursday. Anyway, for whoever asked, the website said Juel comes on at 9. Willa Ford does the first thiry minutes, then the next 30 minutes are for the five finalists, and then Juel. But I wonder how long she'll be on. Probably an hour? On the new album, though, it sounds really interesting. I thought when the title "Jesus Loves You" was mentioned, it meant that the producer had worked on one song WITH CREED that was called "Jesus Loves You". I didn't think it was the song he's done with Juel and I was surprised because I always thought that she was religious in a non-denominational manner. You know, like she believed in just spirit and worshipped for the sake of worshipping. Also, I'm looking forward to listening to the songs-- I haven't heard "Serve the Ego", and so on. I did hear Rosy and Mick, but I hardly remember it. I remember I was surprised because I thought it was going to be a beautiful, happy love song. I think it was a bit depressing. I heard LMJLMA once or twice as well. I didn't recognize what it was until I heard that line, about the brother or sister being a turtleneck? And I hated the song because I couldn't understand what she was saying. So I'm looking forward to hearing it... I guess it spoiled it that she was live. I'm not saying that her live stuff is bad, I mean, hello, it's Juel. But of course, things sound more polished on the albums, you know? Well, gotta go fail summer school. ===== ~*Liz*~ the Misplaced Angel HARMLESS & SHAMELESS PLUGS (if you can, check 'em out!) I think she could include "Jesus Loves You" on a regular CD. It doesn't have to be a Christmas CD. Besides, that article is just speculation. Only Jewel knows what she wants to put on the album at this point, and I'm sure that will change several times before the release.
