Both netscape and Internet Explorer have similar options. Good Grief, Charlie Brown! I think my head is about to explode! I don't think I've had that much Harris since, well. . .no, nevermind, I don't remember that night so well. . . Anyhow, I'm anxious to see all my EDA-buddies TOMORROW at the Beach Clean Up - -- even if it means getting dirty! Who am I kidding? I love any chance to get down and dirty. I'm going to have to take a break in between el limpiando y la fiesta for a bit of trabajo at the bar, but I will be rejoining later on for la fiesta. Now, as for my comment on the roping of plywood cows...while I have been a witness to this event which brings a smile to so many EDAs, as a vegan, and animal activist (plywood and otherwise) I am torn. Though I may be opposed to roping of farm animals and plywood love-toys of Dennis'. . .I am ALL FOR the roping of small children! Love Always! NYC is very hot right now... (must be me! :)) I was thinking about Ty and Juel, and I was wondering, wh--I mean, no one would know, but I was still wondering why they weren't getting married. They seem to love each other very much. I know they're busy people, do you think that's the reason? What stops a couple from getting married? (That is, if you're straight. I know that gays and lesbians can't get married legally in the U.S.--right?) And Julia Roberts and Benjamin Bratt, or Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. They seem to be serious, not like in high school, where people get dumped so fast. I wonder what's stopping them? How long have Ty and Jewel been together? 2, 3 years? Sure, thats quite a few years, but things happen. My brother and his (ex) girlfriend were together for 3 1/2 years... I was so sure they were gonna get married, and bam... they break up.... So, things can happen, in what seems a long time. People change, and so can feelings. 2 or 3 years seems like an eternity, almost long enough time to decide to tie the knot. But sometimes it isn't.... Sometimes people go out for that many years, then decide to break up. Some couples are together 5+ years before they even get engaged. Besides, call me a bitch, but I hope Steve and Anya break up, and then I hope Jewel and Ty break up, because we all know that Jewel and Steve are PERFECT for eachother.... :) cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 May 2001 23:30:24 -0400 From: "cymbaline" Subject: Re: [EDA] Ty and Juel hey y'all, i'd like to rephrase what I said.... I didn't mean to make my message sound like Jewel and Ty are breaking up. I meant it as that just because they've been together a few years doesn't mean they're, going to be together forever, and are gonna get married. 2-3 years doesn't even mean a couple is ready to get married. I mean, who knows? In another 2 years, maybe their feelings will change, they'll want to move on, and break up. I'm NOT saying that will happen, but I'm saying it does happen. I've actually seen a couple who were together since high school, they were together for at least 10 years, they were going to get married, then they broke up. Plenty of people date for years at a time, then call it quits. I'm not saying its gonna happen to Jewel. I'm just saying that 3 years in any relationship, doesn't automatically mean you're destined to be together forever. Besides, maybe she's not ready for marriage, or doesn't wanna get married anyway cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 4 May 2001 23:43:43 EDT From: RachKat926@aol.com Subject: [EDA] Ty and Juel Return-path: From: RachKat926@aol.com Full-name: RachKat926 Message-ID: <17.153bfa17.2824d078@aol.com> Date: Fri, 4 May 2001 23:41:44 EDT Subject: Re: [EDA] Ty and Juel To: cymbaline@bestnetpc.com CC: jewe!@smoe.org MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" X-Mailer: AOL 6.0 for Windows US sub 10519 X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/alternative by demime 0.97c X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: Alternative section used was text/plain cymbie ~ i think jewel and steve are meant for each other as well.
