I don't think I could rival Rowdy's review of the show, so I'm not even going to try :) But I can give a newcomers perspective on the whole LRC thing. I had heard of LRC's but never been to one before. The candlelight provided for a very intimate, relaxed vibe that made it easy to slip into the songs and really listen to the music. Luna's hypnotic voice, combined with the person hosting the concert's happy pillows, put us all into that altered state that comes from really, really good music. Anyway, Luna was wonderful live and very much worth the drive up to Austin!! My friend Robyn had never heard her music before but ended up leaving with a c/d in hand before the night was over.
