There is always going to be that one kid that thinks he's got it worse than the rest of the world. I would say he thinks that more because of home problems than anything. Everyone is teased, in one fashion or another, in school. But if you have a firm foundation set in the home, it doesn't matter. I know it didn't matter as much with me, anyway... Nobody cares anymore, and people are pushing themselves farther away everyday... :p Christy "In my opinion this country is already going down the tubes. Not only do children no longer care, but adults are begining to no longer care as well. Children bring to school what they are taught at home. If there parents don't care, then the children won't care either. If the parents, from an early age teach their children what caring and kindness is all about then they themselves will care. If a parent beats their child all their lives then all that child will know is violence. And if they are surrounded in love and kindness that is what that child will bring to school." ===== "Lend your voices only to sounds of freedom." -- Jewel Get email at your own domain with Yahoo! I just thought I would introduce myself. My name's Rachel and I'm obviously a very huge Jewel fan. Up until about 6 months ago I was oblivious to the fact that she had over 150 unreleased songs! I've spent a lot of time downloading them. I think I have most of them now thank goodness! :) Anyways... someone said something about Kendall Payne.. I too am a big fan of her, I got her CD autographed at the Jewel concert I went to two summers ago. I'm also curious to what she's up to nowadays, I would love to see her in concert. Go to www.KendallPayne.com she has a great website. That's all I have to talk about for now.. I hope I am sending this right-- it's my first time :) hehe. I have kind of a stupid question-- does the fact that I'm on this list make me an EDA or do I join a fan club? geez, I know it's probably an obvious question-- sorry!! ~Rachel~ "I have it on good terms to know that the quest for perfection can leave an individual gasping for breath." ~Princess Diana "Wherefore art my Romeo, where have all the cowboys gone? Hey all you angels, Just a little info for you all. i am kinda a buff on myths both greek and roman and hey if i dont know it off the top of my head i can look it up in a book. but what you are thinking of Tom, is the story of Icarus and the wings. he went flying with his father and they were escaping from and island, his father was the inventor Daedalus (sp?) and they were flying away from the island when Icarus was warned many times to stay away from the sun but he didn't listen and flew too close and the wax holding his wings together melted and he plunged into the sea and drowned Peace out Paul the mid west angel ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 07 Mar 2001 23:44:01 -0500 From: "Devin Starr" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jessica Lyrics > She's an angel at his table, forced to feel >but not to see. > >But I've always hear it as: A force to feel but not to see. Although I guess the other way can >also be interpreted with the same meaning, he's forced to feel her >presence, but not see her. i have listened to this song many time, as some EDA's know why.. (i explained it a long time back) adn I have always heard it to be A force to feel but not to see. This line comes after he hears she is dead, and he cannot see her anymore.. but he still feels her watching over him. ghosts are often refered to as a force, which they are. So i think it is A force to feel but not to see. but dont forget, Jewel likes to change her lyrics around just to mess with our heads. but it must be fun to do that.. hope i helped.
