Rather than insult the hundreds of Jewel fans on this list, perhaps you might want to invite those that want to discuss non-Jewel topics to the EODA group on Yahoo which I understand you control and leave us 'obsessed freaks' in peace. But I'd guess from the number of posts that you've made to this list that you'd prefer a larger audience for your ego. She was replying to all those posts made by people who *do* "worship" Jewel, and take their fondness of her a little too far, to the point where people can't even discuss anything besides Jewel on this list, and anything said that isn't "I love Jewel, she's the greatest person in the world" isn't allowed...the people who seem to forget that Jewel is an everyday, average, regular human being, who *does* make mistakes, who has bad moods, who isn't a superhuman that has the power to tour the world constantly and endlessly doing anything and everything to please her fans. Chris said: > Rather than insult the hundreds of Jewel fans on this list, > perhaps you might want to invite those that want to discuss > non-Jewel topics to the EODA group on Yahoo which I > understand you control and leave us 'obsessed freaks' in > peace. But I'd guess from the number of posts that you've > made to this list that you'd prefer a larger audience for > your ego. I think that was rude and uncalled for. Loosen up a little bit Chris, cymbie was just poking an innocent joke, it wasn't meant to be terribly offensive, and she wasn't talking about *ALL* the people on this list, which was very apparent by her post, and the post that she was responding to (about "not talking about Matchbox 20 because this is a Jewel list"). She was simply making light of the very few, yet *very* dedicated fans that seem to think that straying off the topic of Jewel's "wonderful-ness" is off limits, and that we must adore & worship her and *only* her 24/7... ~ Sandy ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 2 Mar 2001 17:00:00 -0400 From: "Antonio Miquilena" Subject: [EDA] Track Listing + Other Topic Well people I'm sorry, hehehe, I have received a few emails saying the same, and a crowd can't not be mistaken. Anyways I was trying to help, and yes, I was checking mine it is a bootleg, sue me :) jejeje Anyways, the other point I wanted to discuss was the following. I want to make a trade of angelfood with anyone on the list that may be interested, I only have Jewel cd's, since I never really got into the video thing (but now I do). So, the shows I will like to have on video (VHS) are: * Austin City Limits (complete, with good video quality, since so far, is my fave show) * Cambridge (5-6-99) * Madrid concert (the one containing the tracks in the bonus cd of spirit) * Sheperd's Bush Empire (amazing concert on cd, must me great, I want it on video) Those 4 so far, plus if anyone have all the videos she have released, they can add it to the tape. (MTV here sucks, and Jewel is not really hot topic, so her videos NEVER EVER get played, please). Also, if you don't have those shows, but have other shows complete in good quality, let me know which one is it. Well, those are the shows I would want, if anyone have them and is willing to help ths SAEDA it will be much appreciated. Contact me directly thru my email amiquilena@cantv.net or Jewelfanboi@hotmail.com The shows I have to trade are: I sent a file to the list, if you get it that's the detailed description of each show, if not, here is the name of them(Pure Cd's, excellent quality). * List Owner Note: Smoe.org does not allow attachments, so the file the author of this post had attached was automatically stripped by the lists' software. * Austin City Limits (06-2000 I believe) Bimbo's 365 Club (2 CD-SET 5-3-96) Cambridge (5-6-99) Concert Hall Stockhom (Dunno the date) DDDelight (8-96) Everyday Angel 1 & 2 (Various Tracks) Flowers (Various concerts) Hudson Theather (6-6-00) Irving Plaza (1-26-96) Jewelstock Volume 3 & 4 Sheperd's Bush Empire (Dunno the date) When You Smile (5-18-96) Woodstock (Dunno the date) Rock The Rockies (Dunno the date) Radio Tiner Show (Dunno the date) VH1 StoryTellers (Dunno the date) All my shows are excellent quality, and will burn in HP Cd's or KODAK Gold or KODAK ULTIMA. If anyone is up for it, send me an email. Thanks.
