I first thought of it when she does that screaming part towards the end of Love Me, Just Leave Me Alone...also, has anyone noticed that when she really gets into it, she tends to get those spasitc sort of hand movements like Janis did ?? I wonder is Janis is a major influence on her music...because a lot of times you tend to pick up on things they do and end up doing it and not realizing it. For instance, when I perform with my band a lot of people say I tend to look a little like Jim Morrison on the stage (in my movements, not looks), and I will say, the Doors are a big influence on my writing and singing style, but I don't do it on purpose. Speaking of lyrics to "Life Uncommon", just a side note to my recent posts of Free Speech and TOLERANCE of everybody's morals and the ability to let people be who they are... "Tonight's The Night " went to #1 for Rod back in the fall of 1976, while "The First Cut Is The Deepest" was his followup hit (peaked in the mid 20s or so) which itself was a cover of an earlier Cat Stevens original.
