I know she might only recorded a few songs but hopefully Jewel will tell the recordbosses that she wants to have on the record Stephenville, Does anybody believe in Love, Rosy and Mick, Lemondrops and Break me. I also still have a good hope that one day Atlantic records will release a RARE b-sides record just like they did with Tori Amos record To the moon, venus and back.. Just my opinion, hope to get some information soon by the Jewelink mailinglist. Jewel has only released two "real" albums (not counting Joy) with the majority of the b-sides coming from POY.. The quality of the versions of these b-sides wasn't great and the songs themselves (excepting Everything Breaks) wouldn't warrant being put on a regular album.. Plus, from a personal view, I've never liked b-side albums.. It's like, I'm such a fan and I spend all this money collecting import singles and such, and then it's all amde worthless by the idea of a b-sides album.. Also, the Tori Amos reference is incorrect.. Tori has never had a b-sides album released.. TVAB is a double-CD set with one CD full of then-brand-new material and one CD full of live songs.. In the early stages of planning for the album, it was intended to be a three-CD set, but it ended up just being new & live material.. scott.evans [[crazy is just YOU and ME. I do not remember this being mentioned, so here it goes... Dennis Miller made a small Jewel comment in his newest book, "I Rant, Therefore I Am" Copyright 2000 (though I think the rant is an older one) In a rant concerning "rock and roll" and the artists, he wrote this: " I read Jewel's new book of poetry last night. It was a real eye-opener. You know what I learned? I found out prejudice is stupid... Well, it is! " He goes on to other singers such as Axl Rose, Hole, Beck, Oasis, etc.. Miller is great, though I guess his stuff is an acquired taste, so not everyone might like him... Anyway, just thought I would share. As far as I can remember it was Joy Eden Harrison's song, and the version that everyone has (Innerchange Days), Jewel is only doing the scat part at the end. Jamie" Ahh!! Really?? My mistake. But it's a good song. I think to substitue that song, I'll put I've Got the Blues More Than You Do the Blues (such a long title!). At least she sang that right? :) By the way, I forgot to mention-- my favorite video is the original YWMFM, not the one with Poltzie, even if he's cute. I don't know why, I guess the video shows the nostalgia the person in the song is feeling. ===== ~*Liz*~ the Misplaced Angel HARMLESS & SHAMELESS PLUGS (if you can, check 'em out!)
