Y, jupiter Hello angels! How are you? I'm doing mighty dandy today, though I have not even started my homework. See, last week I was walking home on the sidewalk and there a park called Harris Field that I was walking along. Suddenly I saw this green bug on the sidewalk that seemed very long, so I put my foot forward so it could climb up and then I deposited the bug on my shoe onto the grass. It's not anywhere near Juel's b-day or something but that's why what I did was a RANDOM act of kindness, right? I was so proud of myself. I just saw the video for Jupiter on Jeweljk. I saw a video of it from Woodstock and I was like YOWZA. Why'd she butcher it like that? But then I saw this version and liked it so much better. I loved it. I definitely loved it. I'm going to the 92nd St. Y... I think I got good tickets. I wonder if a lot of people are going. My LEVEL is ORCHESTRA, my ROW is J (like Juel! :)), and the SEAT is 104. I think I'll eat an early dinner at Bagels and Co. It's this great pizza place (and, oh yeah, bagels, too). I don't know, I also thought it was because it was Kosher. Kosher places are open on Sundays?? Hmm. I'll have to check, but since it's on 77th and York Ave. (where my middle school was), I guess I'll just go to Mickey D's on 85th St. It's really weird that I'm going because my Dad was "too cheap" to buy me her hardcover book, so I'm going without having any knowledge of the book except the pictures I checked out while I was in the bookstore. I don't care, I love going to 92 St. Y-- I graduated from middle school there!! I love the Upper East Side... even with that rapist running loose. That guy's still out there, right?? Just so you people recognize me... I'm 5 foot-something, not too fat, not too skinny, Asian, big cheeks, dark-haired except for some red highlights my hairdresser added without asking me, and I wear oval-shaped glasses, have braces-- actually, by then I'll wear a retainer-- basically, I look perfect! (heehee, doesn't hurt too be proud of who I am~) What else... Oh right. So last week, my music appreciation teacher, Ms. Sotello (who's blond and from California and is not exactly skinny-- hm, remind you of Juel?) brought her acoustic guitar, and the next day she told my class that this girl, Kate, sang this Juel song in front of another of Ms. Sotello's classes and that she was very nervous but everyone applauded. So if you're an EDA, Kate, WRITE ME!!!!!! I go to the Bronx High School of Science. Also, everybody please check out Laura Pausini who has a new CD out and it's 14.99 or something at HMV, get it while you can. She's Italian and she releases her CD's in Italian and in Spanish (but the one realeased here is in Spanish), but for you English speakers, there's a song in English at the end. She's very Europop and some dance. A lot of nice acoustic guitar and nice vocals. She was featured in the Message in a Bottle sountrack, just like our Poltzie was featured in Notting Hill. Well I am quite happy because of two things...I'm gonna go see Counting Crows and Live tonight! and also I FOUND MY RARE ANGELS TAPE! See, a VERY KIND angel sent it to me last year (maybe more than a year ago...) for free because I had no money at all (I'm a high school student, international program = no time no do anything by HW!, so no job, no money, sniff, sniff) and I LOVED IT. We moved to a new house and I lost lots of precious things..including my Rare Angels tape..so now that I found it I couldn't find the case and I lost the names of the songs...I know Jewel talks (it's very funny and interesting the things she says) and she sometimes says the name of the song she's about to sing..but could any of you PLEASE send me the list of names? I love most of it, if not all of the songs in the tape...I wish she would sometimes record them in a cd so all of her fans who do not know about this list or angelfood would listen to do them. Also, I had a little question...who recorded this tape? It seems like someone who was her fan from 1995 did it, because one can hear that she's singing like in a small café and sometimes you can hear a nearer laugh at jewel's jokes...and I guess that's the-guy-who-recorded-it 's laugh...does anyone know!?
