Hope I have clued some people in :) just my 2 cents Wesllow ~The Redstick indigo Angel~ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 06 Oct 2000 07:42:49 EDT From: Minnie822@aol.com Subject: [EDA] jewel on the daily show hey angels I would just like to say that jewel was great on the daily show!!! I caught the last few minutes of it. I don't know if it will re-air or not, but I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on it. Hey luvs! Ah have a quick question: Is Jewel going to be doing any readings at any Barnes and Nobles stores in the LA area?! Ah really think it's unfair for everyone on the east coast to have Jewel do appearances only in the east coast! It would SO KEWL if she did a reading over here. Ah haven't gotten her book "Chasing Down the Dream" yet, but my friend is coming over tonight, and she got it! So we're gonna read it! Ah can't wait! WEEEEEEE!!!!! By the way, my friend's dad works for the San Fransisco Giants, and he said that if the team makes it to the World Seereece they gonna try to get Jewel to sing the national anthem at one of the games! WOW! That would be so KEWL!!! He also said that we fly both of us up there to see the game AND Jewel!! WOW! Ah really hope they make it, because Ah want to meet Jewel so bad! Oh yeah, and thanks to everyone who wrote correcting me about the whole new CD and lyric quote thing! Ah feel so stupid! But now Ah got it all figured out. Thanks! Ah haven't had time to write everyone back, because my stupid mom grounded me because Ah called her a stupid bitch, but now Ah can use the computer again! So hopefully Ah'll write everyone back soon! Have a lovely day everyone! I don't want to be accused by some people of pinpointed this guy again, and receiving more lovely hate mail for what I said, because I'd make this comment to anyone who said it. How is it unfair for everyone on the east coast to have Jewel doing readings and appearances, when you were so lucky to get all of her acoustic performances in California recently. I don't even live in the states so it doesn't matter to me regardless, but I find it funny that no matter where she goes and what she's doing there, people have to complain that she's not doing it near them. Just my opinion, keep your hate mail to yourself please. :) (since you only succeeded in making yourself look stupid last time) Oh, and it's Chasing down the dawn, not the dream :) Although who is expected to know that when everyone on her TV appearances is getting it wrong! ~ Sandy - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ronald I. I'm growing impatient, I was under the impression that we would get it the day it came out, and now it's been 3 days (actually it's the fourth day). If I had known that I would get it late, I would have saved on the shipping, and bought it at Barnes and Noble (who is selling it for a dollar more, but obviously there is no $4 shipping cost) and I would have been able to read it already. I usually get all her stuff (cd's etc.) on their day of release, I hate having to wait : ) By the way- If there is someone outside the US who wants the book, can't you order it from JMerch? And if not you could always pay shipping and the cost of the book, and I'll get it and send it-- Let me know ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Oct 2000 12:09:03 EDT From: TigressWH@aol.com Subject: Re: [EDA] Daily show, the view, a little recap :( I can't believe I missed it. Bought a book called "Bringing Down The Dawn" and when I got home I saw it was by Tony Orlando and about how he got rid of Dawn by framing them both for a bank job.
