Love Ya Lisa ~*Angelbaby*~ ps. If you look in this months issue of teen people they did this makeover on this girl to look like jewel. Hello I know when jewel came to Australia last year, she was pleasent on stage, she didn't remember the words to rocker girl, (not surprising as it was a request from the crowd) and as soon as the concert was over, she high-tailed out of their and left steve to do all the talking. I managed to talk to steve for a while and thanked him for coming offstage and giving me his guitar pick. All im saying is, this isnt a new thing. Shane ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 3 Oct 2000 19:30:46 EDT From: EastAngelEDA@aol.com Subject: [EDA] AAJD (Angels Against Jewel Drinking) LoL Okay guys, here's the thing...Jewel is of age, she is allowed to get smashed if she wants to, as long as she doesn't harm herself or others in the process. No one has a big problem with Steve going on-stage drunk, so why is it such a big deal if Jewel has a couple or more drinks before going on? I don't get it, I mean, ugh. Leave it be, I keep telling myself to leave it be, but I can't. I am so annoyed at the nit-picky things that are said on this list. So what if she drinks? So what if she has changed b/c she has a boyfriend and is in love and wants to have time for Ty? Who cares? I don't. I'm happy for her. And from reading the reviews, even if she was drunk, people seem to agree it was a great concert. Whatever...LoL Gina EastAngel ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 03 Oct 2000 19:36:50 EDT From: Leftychic@aol.com Subject: [EDA] NJC: att TN angels! Hello everyone! This is probably my second post this year (the first one being like a week ago)! How's all by my beautiful angels? Now for the reason I am writing. . .I am planning a trip down to Nashville, TN at the end of October. I'll be arriving the 27th, and leaving the morning of November 2nd. I am interested in perhaps scheduling a LRC or so. I'll be in Memphis around the 29th and 30th, or between there and Nashville. If you live anywhere in the area, and you're interested in hosting me in your living room, I'd love to hear from you. I've been calling clubs and bars, but it's HARD to swing a gig in Nashville if you're not huge with a following, and I've never even been there, let alone PLAYED THERE! So, if there are any angels in Tennessee interested in hosting the debut Tennessee performance of Kelly Gallagher, please do, write me. We can work out details in private e-mail. Love Always! First, Jewel was definately NOT drunk at the Puyallup show. I was at the show, and as a full time EMT with an ambulance company, I have seen more than a fair share of drunks: happy drunks, injured drunks, sick drunks, depressed/suicidal drunks, violent drunks, dirty drunks, clean (but still smelly) drunks, rich drunks, homeless drunks, etc... I did not see any signs whatsoever that Jewel was the slightest bit intoxicated. She did not sway, she did not slur her speech, she did not laugh at things that weren't funny (she did have a great sense of humor, though), she DID, however, put on a great show. As far as the kidney thing goes, I believe that the liver is the organ most affected by alcohol. Alcohol does, however, dehydrate the body, and I certainly wouldn't drink (god forbid that I should give up wine!) if I had a kidney problems. You will notice that Jewel drinks A LOT of water, she always has a jug of water on the stage. This may have to do with her kidney problems. At any rate, I love my wine :) , and I certainly wouldn't care in the slightest bit if anyone else (including Jewel; but excluding minors, operators of heavy machinery, drivers, and ON DUTY EMTs, firefighters, etc...) wanted to have a few drinks now and then. Anyone care to join me in a toast? TO KIDNEYS! :) -phil, the deleriously sleepy angel _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
