Is there anybody who got photos of this concert and is willing to scan them for me or to send an original negative ? i took camera with me, but i had no photos left anymore when they allowed everybody to make CLOSEUPs of Jewel @ her concert so for my memory and other sake please help me out with photo of concert in Visalia... i even hope there is somebody from saratoga taken a photo from the concerts @ the winery which was a beautiful venue in the mountains/valley... michiel the dutch Jewelfan ps Excellent songs of Jewel in those days according to my humble Jewel opinion : Does anybody believe in Love Rosie & Mick Violet Eyes Hands accoustic Foolish games accoustic Who will save your soul Everything breaks Stephenville.. and go so on.... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 2 Oct 2000 08:40:56 -0400 From: "cymbaline" Subject: Re: [EDA] Jewel's concert trip from the point of Michiel - the european fan um... no offense, but why make a compilation tape (even though your 1999 dutch EDA tapes were great), when I'm sure many people would enjoy having full shows? As much as some individual songs are really good, sometimes full shows are alot better, as you get the full flavor of jewel's mood that night. just a thought... cymbie tree hugger - -- when night falls it's dawn one must reach for. - -a. camus - ----- Original Message ----- From: michiel van gorkum To: EDA Sent: Monday, October 02, 2000 5:20 AM Subject: [EDA] Jewel's concert trip from the point of Michiel - the european fan > hello Jewelfans, > > Just this short message now , i managed to record the second concert in the > Winery with Minidisc and it turned out great. I don't have many close friends (just a few) to photograph, and I hate walking up to random people and saying "mind if i take your picture??" (i'd sound so psycho and forward, plus i'm very shy). I even hate to be posting to the list about this. But its kind of lame to continuously have my boyfriend and his friends as the subject of my photos. I'm mainly looking for anyone who's in the Daytona Beach or St. Augustine area (if there are any angels in those areas), as I live halfway between each (I live in Flagler). I'm looking for people of all ages/sizes. You don't have to be a supermodel, just as long as your willing to be yourself as I take some posed and some "candid" shots. (FYI, I'm not doing studio photography yet, this would all be in a public or possibly private setting if I feel comfortable enough) I'm looking for musicians as well... if you play at any clubs or bars in the above mentioned areas, let me know. (My themed portfolio I'm working on all semester revolves around music and musicians). Please note, I am far from professional, but I'm still learning. As a poor college student who's weekly income is about $100, I can't afford to pay you, but I am willing to make prints of some (b&w) photos. Please e-mail me at cymbaline@earthmax.net if interested. Or is she going to be the musical guest (like on Letterman) and promote her book as well? If she's the musical guest I'd like to stay up and see what song she sings (if she happens to sing a new one), but if she's only gonna sit in a chair and ramble on about a book... I'd rather go to bed. Not that I'm not stoked about her book being released.... but I'd rather stay up to hear her sing something like Break Me or Violet Eyes (or something new, like how she did on Exhale). anyways....
