I'm looking for people to trade my copy of Saturday's Puyallup Jewel show. I am trading it for concerts with new songs, or the more hard-rockish... like Love Me Just Leave Me Alone shows. I am NOT interested in video. I have no time to watch it:-( I am very interested in CD's of shows. I'm pretty much covered on most of the earlier stuff, I'm looking for new shows. Quality: you can basically hear everything she said. It's not recorded too quiet, or too loud. Yet it's not perfect and you can also hear the audience. If I manage to get pictures developed, I will also be more than happy to include a colored scanned copy of a picture I took from row 2 or 6. Cool, huh? Wild offer: Will trade tape and add more shows of your choice in exchange for used horse tack... bridles, reins, martingales... you name it. Pretty weird huh? yeah. I'm doing limited trade so I can be sure to send everything out fast... Will go by best offer. SET LIST BELOW. Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know that the Puyallup Show on Saturday was totally awesome!!! This was the second time I've seen her... Actually, I saw her 4 years and 1 day prior to Saturday's show at the Puyallup Fair as well. It was far better than in 1996, because Jewel had just come off a tour in Australia opening for Bob Dylan and it was also a split bill w/the Goo Goo Dolls. Anyways, getting back to Saturday. She was totally on!! The band and her sounded totally awesome and worth every penny spent on tickets. (BTW, I lucked out and got Row 7, center). I heard lots of new songs that I'm not to familar with, so I'll need some help with her and Steve's setlists, if anyone knows... Also, this was the first time I have seen Steve Poltz and he rocked too!!! Although he had a hard time saying the name of the city (Puyallup, pronounced: Pew-all-up) He made a little ditty up.. "Pull-y'all-up, Pull-y'all-down..." cause he couldn't say the name.. he said he was going to become Mayor and own a Spa and Hot Tub shop as well. I managed to get a recording of Steve Poltz and Jewel's sets. When I get it transferred from MiniDisc, I will let everyone know.. Please don't email me know.. I will make an announcement when it's all set to go.. I just started classes last week, so my schedule has been a bit chaotic lately, but will try to get everything situated as soon as possible. :-) Talk to ya later!!! - -Morgan The angel who... hmm... haven't come up with one yet. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Sep 2000 20:56:12 -0700 From: Morgan Lambert Subject: [EDA] Puyallup 2000 Pics? Hey.. does anyone have some pictures from the Puyallup show? Mine turned out pretty dark.. if so please email me! :-) Thanks, Morgan ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Sep 2000 21:05:21 PDT From: "sleepy guy" Subject: [EDA] Puyallup show Hi all! I just joined the EDA list (yep, I'm brand-spankin' new!). Last Saturday I went to see Jewel perform at the Puyallup Fair; it was, without a doubt, the best concert I've ever been to! (sorry, I didn't think to bring a video recorder or even a camera) This was the first time I've seen Jewel perform; prior to Saturday I hadn't even seen her on TV (oh, yeah, that might be because I don't own a television). I was really impressed with her ability to put on a well organized show as well as her relaxed, casual manner on a stage. I've been listening to Jewel's CD's for about three or four years now, and I still find each song to be tremendously powerful, even inspiring. Recently I ran across the HGH web site, and I can't help but thinking that Jewel must be one of the most wonderful people in the world today. Her music and her charity work warm the heart, lending hope to a seemingly bleak world. I'd love to hear all of your stories about how you may have been "the difference that makes a difference", helping to create a better world. Hope you all have a beautiful evening. -Phil (Sleepy Angel) _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
