We of course, all (or most of us anyway) know about the five consecutive concerts our beloved Jewel is giving in September. Of course, it would just have to be my luck that one of these such concerts would happen to fall on my birthday (September 27). Of course, in my little world, California is a LONG way from Wisconsin. I probably wouldn't feel so frustrated, except that I have never been fortunate enough to see Jewel perform. Oh well. Even venting didn't make me feel any better. I guess I shall now send this and go wallow in a pool of self-pity. I hope the rest of you are having better luck with things than I.
