I've done some checking into things, and it looks like there are a handful of willing sponsors, including MGD Music, that will sponsor a chairty concert with Jewel. The proceeds for the event, if it happens, would go to Higher Ground for Humanity. It is tentivily set for October 14, 2000 at either the Riverside Theatre, The US Cellar Arena (formally the Milwaukee Arena), the Milwaukee Auditorium, or the Bradley Center. The sponsors would get in touch with Jewel's management, print tickets, pay for insurance,rent the venue, and Jewel's traveling and lodging. The ticket prices would be low so a lot of people would come, most of the money going to Higher Ground. Please e-mail me if you are interested in helping find sponsors, or are affliated with any of the venues mentioned, Jewel's management, or a willing sponsor. It would be a great concert, but most of all the money would help to make a difference in this world. We are the difference that makes a difference!
