A lot of you seem to share the opinion that "being an EDA" is much more than that. Why is this? If you volunteer or contribute to charitable causes, that's great. But why has that become a sort of requirement to being a "real" EDA. The way I see it, this list is like all the others of its kind- fans of an artist come together to discuss that artist. Why does being an EDA necessitate being more than just a fan of Jewels? I'm not an EDA because of what I do, I'm an EDA simply because I subscribe to this list. I go through and read all the subjects and check out who they are from. If I have disagreed with someone in the past or the subject seems as though they are waging war, I *gasp!* delete it and forget that it ever exsited.
