Well as Jess Smith told you all the other day, we, the long suffering (at least as far as RWTD is concerned) OzEDAs finally got to see the film that we have seen gone from production, to cinema, to video and DVD.....almost everywhere except Australia! It seems only yesterday that a frantically excited Jess told me the Village cinemas website had RWTD listed as 100 days away from release. So fellow OzEDAs, as well as those who haven't seen it yet, you may wonder whether it's worth the $10 to see it....well...yep! Not only is it incredibly (for me at least) exciting to see and hear Jewel on the big screen, the film is also quite good itself. My only warning is note to the squeemish: don't look at the 'surgical procedure', if that's what it is worthy to be called. So go along and see it. If you're worried about Jewel plumetting on screen and becoming yet another singer who flopped bigtime....don't be. Whilst it is apparent that she still has a way to go in developing her skills, the fact that it is not noticable that this is her first film is an indication of her enormous potential.
