I've been getting some emails enquiring if it's true that Jewel will be at the event. All this post says is that Jewel and the other songbirds are "on the honorary committee". That does not at all mean she will be at the event. As a matter of fact, it also just mentions that the "backstage pass" gets one time with the first lady. No mention of Jewel or the other singers. Also, the official calendar on the jeweljk.com web site does not mention this event at all. Seems to me it's clear Jewel won't be there.
