Anyway I just thought I'd mention that it is not listed in my tv guide or on the tv guide website, but it is on the PBS web site. So anyone who hasn't checked there should. Also if anyone can't get it I am going to be taping it, but I only have one vcr, so I will need help making copies. : ) write soon!! Love -- Chrissy The tarheel angel PS anyone in the NC angels please e-mail me and tell me how the trip to Myrtle beach went!!! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 08:21:22 EDT From: AmyC22@aol.com Subject: * Radio Shack Ok, there are 2 Radio Shacks by me, and both are extremely small. I mean, it's a PAIN to even walk around in there. So I was just wondering, and I'm sure someone asked this and I just missed it, but is Jewel going to be shown at ALL the Radio Shacks? Because I honestly wonder how...and then I read about bringing lawn chairs...are they doing it outside? Be patient with me, I haven't had much time to read all the posts! Thank you! amy *the raindrop angel* ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 08:50:45 EDT From: "Thomas Miles" Subject: * njc: radio shack gathering june 8th hey guys, just wondering, since i'm gonna try to make it into the city for the airing of jewel's radio shack concert, is anybody interested in meeting up earlier and hanging out in the city before going to radio shack. it's quite a long train ride from pa to go into nyc for a couple of hours and then turn around and go back home, so i was probably going to make it a whole day affair. if anyone's interested, please let me know. pete, abel, dan, leif, etc., you guys had better email me or else. ;) tom :) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 13:05:47 EDT From: POYJewel@aol.com Subject: * Re: A courtesy about Radio Shack I spoke to the people at my local radio shack and they r welcoming the people they told me they will have chairs set up pop corn and loads of prizes. so dont think we r a burden on them they want us to come and lots of us. Please be courteous when going to Radio Shack - I highly doubt that the sales associates or managers will be very happy to have hordes of people come in to just watch the tv - in fact from my experience I'm sure there'll be someone who will go and turn the TV off if they feel like it. >> ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 31 May 2000 12:51:19 PDT From: "Amy Emerman" Subject: * Small question This may have been answered in the past, but I'm sure it's always changing. Does anyone know approximately how many people are on this mailing digest? Just curious. Is it several hundred or so? I remember something about demographics and where people were from, but I don't remember a ball park figure about how many people approximately there are on this list? If this is indeed not the case, I would -- and I'm sure the rest of the EDAs would as well -- like an explanation of what percentage of gross revenues from the auction are going to HGH, and a breakdown detailing where the rest is going. I guess this means Jewel will actually be reading more of our posts! I look forward to the new list and the new information. I have asked around to a couple stores to see what they're planning on doing - some said absolutely nothing, and I'm talking stores in city areas.. Bridgewater Commons Mall, Willowbrook Mall, etc... So don't expect every Radio Shack to be as hospitable as this one :) Laters, Linda In a message dated 5/31/2000 6:05:05 PM Eastern Daylight Time, POYJewel@aol.com writes: << I spoke to the people at my local radio shack and they r welcoming the people they told me they will have chairs set up pop corn and loads of prizes. so dont think we r a burden on them they want us to come and lots of us.
