Hello to all, In the past few months, I've discovered & started listening to Susan Tedeschi. I don't know how many of you know of her, but she rocks! She's got a primarily bluesy style, ranging from slow sultry tunes to all-out rockin' jams. And a voice out of this world!! She's finally starting to get some airplay here & there, so if you haven't heard of her yet, you will soon. I found myself driving down the road listening to her the other day, and thinking, "Wow! She and Jewel should get together & try out some duets!" They both have amazing voices, and I think the resulting sound would be phenomenal! Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Does it really exist? Hi y'all :-) A while back, maybe a year ago, someone posted that they had found a "Gold Series" Pieces Of You CD at Best Buy and had asked about it. Typically, a Gold Series CD is of better quality for a variety of reasons. In my experiences with special version vinyl and/or CDs, they are typically not put out by the original label (in some cases they are though), but rather put out by another company that specializes with these special version recordings, with the blessing of the original label. There was never a reply to the list about this Gold Series POY CD, and I myself looked for it for a while out of curiosity (even at Best Buy) but never saw it. I have never even seen it online at any CD stores (not that I looked tooooo hard). Has anyone else out there ever seen this CD? If so, and you have it, what can you tell us about it? Original master tape? Re-mastered? Just a specially coated CD? Both? More? Same jacket/liner notes as the original POY? Comes with a stick of gum? I never watch TV so it's weird that I see Jewel when I haven't watched TV in a while. There was this show, where old people and young people talked about videos. They showed little clips of different videos. They did Jewel's "What's Simple is True." She didn't get such great comments about the video. One old guy said she didn't need the sex. It was vey funny. I'm not sure the show was called but if you really want to see it I'm SURE VH1 will show it about 20 more times. This happened to be the first time I've seen that much of the video.
