BUT I have a problem. I don't have a credit card... so I'm wondering if I could send a money order via the mail to HGH (or wherever... ) and donate that way? also... Approximately how much money are we talking? I'm thinking of sending about 10 american dollars... Is that too little? HAPPY HANUKKAH EVERYONE :) ===== "If music be the food of love-play on!" For the internationals ( from Australia , I believe ) , asking whether they could still donate by mail > ... I would think that if you mailed it TODAY from a main post office , that it would get here in time okay , but I guess Alan should verify this ( also see below ) . As was posted yesterday or the day before ... If you're mailing it : Dec. 6 ; If you're paying by credit card at the HGH website : Dec. 9 . Again , by mail , it must be mailed on or before Dec. 6 . And for international EDAs , or others concerned about paying by credit card on the net ... Supposedly , it IS safe to provide credit card info. on a " secure " website , which HGH IS . I believe you click on something like " secure mode ," or something , or maybe at HGH ( & maybe other places ) , when you are about to order or donate , you are automatically taken into the secure mode , where your vital ifo. is encrypted . There should be an indication somewhere that you are in a secure mode , or on a secure page . I hope this clears up everything ! With the intense and moving new Civail War drama 'Ride with the Devil' (also known in Hollywood as the Jewel movie), Ulrich is set to show off his skill. Now, though, he's an impatient husband who's sitting down with Cosmo to discuss things filmic and familial: from the Jewel of his movie to the jewel in his own life. Q: Okay, give us the lowdown on working with rookie actor Jewel. A: I knew this whole interview would be about Jewel [laughs]. Q: Not the whole interview. But come on. A: She has a good sense of humor and doesn't take herself too seriously. I tried to keep her loose and not too worried. Our first kissing scene, I was eating onions in front of her right before. Just to let her know it's all play. That's it :-) Take Care, Angela ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Dec 1999 21:27:50 EST From: F8thnJEWEL@aol.com Subject: * Sessions ... please??? hi there angels ... well, i missed sessions on PBS. :( i wasn't too upset because i figured there would be reruns ... well, i just looked at the site and i don't think there will be reruns, so any angels out there that would be willing to make me a copy? please? or course i'll pay for postage and all that good stuff ... or we could trade? please get back to me. ~Elizabeth ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 4 Dec 1999 15:22:48 +1300 From: "Kim Lees" Subject: * "Joy" *finally* out in New Zealand G'day, well just to prove New Zealand is last in pretty much everything except for time itself (we'll always be first with that), "Joy" finally came out!!! actually I think it came out yesterday (i.e. Friday) but I haven't been able to find it anywhere till today... so anyway, it's the Australasian edition with the "Life Uncommon" live bonus track as well as the multimedia stuff (which I'm yet to view)... strangely it doesn't have an "Australasian Edition - Exclusive Bonus Track" sticker on it like "Spirit" did and still has a year later... well I won't bore you all with yet another review but I'll just say I'm glad "Face Of Love" didn't get ruined by the production :-) Kim Lees Quiet Warrior ICQ# 9270797 - ------------------------------------------------------------ QUIET WARRIOR: A New Zealand Tribute To Jewel http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Stadium/7485/jewel.html includes an audio section with over 100 unreleased songs - ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 3 Dec 1999 21:32:04 EST From: SWEETSM130@aol.com Subject: * Re: why do you like Jewel Let's see...why do we like Jewel so much? Because she is a breath of fresh air from this trendy dominated, money obsessed world. She sounds beautiful live(unlike some other artists *cough britney cough*). Her songs are about things that really matter. She is creative. Not only do we like her singing, we like her poetry as well. There is another reason to love her. She has the sweetest and most powerful voice. Others may not agree with you but we have our preferneces in music just as they have theirs. I doubt they would get it if they aren't into Jewel.
